Message from the President:
Welcome to a new and exciting year in the world of nutrition. So many great nutrition topics are in the news these days, from First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move Program to legislation for Nutrition Labeling on Menus. These and more will all require the expertise and passion of nutrition professionals like you. The Austin Dietetic Association is dedicated to advancing the profession of dietetics and establishing the RD as THE expert in the field. To that end, I encourage you to share your energy and passion for food and nutrition with the Austin Dietetic Association. I invite you join us at our chapter meetings and meet the people who are shaping our future, both globally and locally, with creative and enthusiastic determination. Join us as we make 2010-2011 a benchmark year for the Austin Dietetic Association.
