The degree and graduate course hours must be from an accredited college or university.
Must be a Registered Dietitian (R.D.) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration, the credentialing agency for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Continued employment is based upon maintaining current credentials.
Preferences: - Licensed Dietitician (L.D.) with the Texas State Board of Examiners of Dietitians; and/or - Supervisory experience in food systems managment/operations or as a nutrition/dietitian consultant; and/or - Experience in compliance monitoring, the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Program, juvenile corrections, and software created for the purpose of planning and analyzing menus.

Requirements
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university (two years work experience related to the essential duties may substitute for one year of college); • Minimum three years work experience in planning, coordinating, overseeing and managing training seminars and/or workshops; • Work experience creating original training curricula and presenting information in group settings; • Work experience analyzing and interpreting training data for program effectiveness; • Work experience in drafting evaluations and interpreting results; • Work experience preparing budgets; • Valid Texas drivers license and an acceptable driving record; *and • Required to travel up to 40% of the work period.
